Appointments

Before requesting an appointment with one of our clinicians, it may be worth looking at our self-referrals page to check if a surgery appointment is needed for the service you require.

How to Request an Appointment

You can make an appointment the following ways:

You can pre-book some routine appointments with a GP in the mornings in advance.

You will also be able to obtain an appointment within 48 hours with a GP or practice nurse within 24 hours. Nurse emergency system will still be available for more urgent cases.

Appointments available evenings and weekends 7 days a week.

Telephone Advice

There are times when you may wish to speak to the doctor or nurse about medical problems or for advice. If you wish to speak to the doctor or nurse, advise the telephonist of your needs. Telephone consultations are now available, please advise reception that this is what you require. Emergency help, advice, can be usually dealt with by the reception staff who will contact the doctor and get an early reply.

Telephone consultations are available with either a GP or nurses during the working day, ask reception for details.

We can now offer our patients some evening and weekend appointments, you would be seen in a nearby hub that hosts this service but we would give you full details when you book, there are GPs, ANPs, nurses and HCAs available which should meet all our patient needs.

The weekend appointment slots are usually between 08:00-14:00, Saturday and Sunday, the evening slots are normally between 18:30-20:30.

We are working in partnership with Livi to be able to offer same day video GP appointments (depending on availability) or a pre-bookable appointment within the next three days.

All you need is a smart phone with a front facing camera and an internet connection. When you call to book an appointment speak to one of our receptionists and they can book you an appointment between 7am-10pm Monday to Friday and between 8am-4pm Saturday and Sunday.

Once we have reserved your slot you will recieve a text message asking you to download the Livi app and log in to confirm your appointment. If you do not complete this within one hour of receiving the text message your appointment will be cancelled.
